Wilson A2K 1734 SuperSkin 34" Baseball Catchers Glove

Take command behind the dish with the Wilson A2K 1734, a 34" catcher's mitt expertly engineered for elite-level framing, receiving, and blocking. Designed with thinner toe pads along the fingers, this mitt enhances feel and control on the edges of the strike zone, allowing catchers to frame pitches with surgical precision. Crafted by expert Japanese glove makers, the Pro Stock Select leather palm delivers premium durability and flawless structure, while SuperSkin backing—twice as strong as leather but half the weight—reduces overall weight while repelling moisture. The Half Moon Web and larger pocket provide the control needed to snag fastballs, secure breaking balls in the dirt, and shut down the running game.

Features

• Pro Stock Select Leather: Triple-sorted leather from the top 5% of hides delivers ideal qualities of softness, stretch and durability for a premium catching surface that maintains its shape.
• SuperSkin Technology: SuperSkin microfiber material is half the weight of Pro Stock Leather but twice as durable—its moisture-resistant design extends glove longevity and is easier to clean.
• Thinner Toe Pads: Thinner pads along the fingers allow for easier receiving and accurate framing on edges of the strike zone, giving catchers enhanced feel and pitch presentation.
• Extended Index Finger Pad: A finger pad on the back of the catcher's mitt supplies extra cushion between your index finger and the palm, improving comfort during long innings behind the plate.
