What makes batting gloves good like our Patriot Batting Gloves?
It takes a special company to provide superior batting gloves! Then, it takes a really special company to call those Patriot Batting Gloves! Gloves have been around for years! Companies use thick leather, thin leather, light leather, stiff leather, and stretchy leather to provide uniqueness to their products! But, no one ever does anything different besides the basic materials. Vuk has changed that! We added our bat tape technology to the palm side of our gloves to provide unmatched slip resistance and performance! If used with a Vuk baseball, Vuk has the #1 Bat Grip Tape and Batting Glove combo in the world!
- Palm Grips (Durability Pads): used to Increase Friction, but will Provide Palm Protection that occurs during the Swing!
- Instead of the leather palms taking abuse from the swing like every alternative glove, our gloves will be protected by our grips! The grips will breakdown before the leather, thereby protecting the leather!
- Rate of wear will depend on the hitter! But, each hitter will get to see our durability technology live and in action!
- Finger Grips (Performance Pads): We were taught as kids to get the bat out into our fingers. Our finger grips will grab onto the bat and allow the hitter to gain optimum grip from increased relaxation!
- These finger grips will not show the same signs of wear and will last longer than those that are gripping onto the bat!
Who makes Made in the USA hitting gloves?
USA batting gloves are not currently made in the USA. Some say it is very unlikely. But, Vuk has shortened the curve by being the 1st company to make batting gloves with American Made Features (aka: adding our American Made Bat Tape technology to the palms)! So, we do have the first Patriot Batting Glove with American Made Features! That is pretty unique as we continue to pioneer the industry with products and out of the box thinking!
What makes a good pair of BG's?
Many have asked that question! Many have answered it by saying the looks, the durability, the feel, the features, the slip resistance, the weather protection and the performance benefits! But, until 2016, there wasn't a company that provided a set of batting gloves that encompassed all of those features! Vuk was the first and will continue to be a pioneer in creating batting gloves! The leather is strong on our gloves because it has to withstand the bat grip tape technology on the palm side. Dri-fit materials on the back of the hand for unmatched breathability, comfort, and fit! An extended neoprene cuff on the wrist provides athletes a snug fit, but comfortable fit when they tighten the strap!

Are these similar to other products?
From our understanding, we do not know of any other red batting gloves that use custom leather similar to VUK Patriot Batting Gloves! We needed to do something 100% different! So, a mix of custom leather that comes in all different colors plus the stretchy backing makes these the strongest in the game! Also, we picked supple leather to make sure our Patriot Batting Gloves perform in any weather!
Since our leather is custom and is very supple, it may hold some of color used to create the red leather areas. Users may see color transferring onto their hands after use due to constant rubbing mixed with moisture. This is not a defect. This is just a scenario with custom colored leathers. So, if you wish to help alleviate the amount of color transfer, we recommend hand washing your gloves by themselves in cold water and mild detergent. Again, the color may bleed into the water. So, do not wash with other clothes. It may be worth using a bucket just to prevent any mishaps!

MIDWAY STORE PRODUCTS
All items listed as "In stock" will be processed within 1-2 business days and shipped via economy ground service unless expedited shipping is added in the checkout process.
MANUFACTURER DIRECT PRODUCTS
All manufacturer direct orders listed as "In stock" are shipped directly from the manufacturers and can take up to 1-2 business days to process and be shipped via economy ground service. Expedited shipping is not available for these products.
Note: Please be aware that manufacturer direct products may have a backorder date if no inventory is currently available. If backordered, you will receive an email notification from us with the expected ship date. If the item is completely out of stock, we will promptly refund your money.
STORE POLICIES
Refund & Return Policy
By placing an order through Midway Sports, you agree to the terms outlined below. These policies apply to all U.S. orders and ensure transparency regarding refunds, exchanges, and returns.
A. 14-Day Return Policy
You have 14 days from the date of delivery to submit a return or exchange requests for incorrect, damaged, and defective items.
To be eligible:
- Only one refund or exchange is allowed per order
- Items must be unused, unworn, and unwashed
- Items must include original tags and original packaging
- Returns cannot exceed $1,000 in total value
- Items over $50 (excluding tax & shipping) are eligible for refund
- Items under $50 (excluding tax & shipping) are eligible for exchange or store credit only
- Custom, decorated, team, clearance, and special-order items are final sale unless defective
Original shipping costs are not refundable.
Repackaging for Returns
Do not place shipping labels or tape directly on product packaging (such as shoe boxes). All items must be packed inside a separate shipping box or padded envelope. Returns with damaged or defaced packaging will be rejected.
Manufacturer Direct items follow the Manufacturer Direct Policy.
B. Return Shipping Fees
Free Return Shipping
If your return is due to a defect, damage, or an error on our part, we will provide a prepaid label.
Customer-Paid Return Shipping
For all other returns (size, fit, style, or preference), return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. A $15 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.
Store credit returns are subject to the same deductions as refunds. A return shipping fee will apply, and original shipping costs are non-refundable.
All returns are shipped at the customer’s risk until received and inspected by Midway Sports.
C. Product Exclusions
The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange:
- Basketball Hoops
- Shop Indoor Golf products
- Barbell Standard products
- Large products (at Midway’s discretion)
D. Return Process
- Contact our support team to start a return
- Requests must be made within 14 days of delivery
- Once approved, a return shipping label will be issued
Returns sent without approval or without the issued label will not be accepted.
E. Return Shipment Deadline
Once a return label is issued, the item must be shipped within 7 days.
If the carrier does not scan the package within that window, the return will be automatically canceled and the label voided.
If a return is canceled due to a missed shipment deadline, the customer may submit a new return request as long as the order is still within the 14-day return window. Once the return window has passed, the return is no longer eligible.
F. Inspection & Denied Returns
All returns are inspected upon arrival. If a return does not meet eligibility requirements (including being worn, damaged, missing tags, customized, or outside the return window), it will be denied.
If denied:
- No refund or exchange will be issued
- The customer may request the item be shipped back by providing a prepaid return label within 7 days
- If no label is provided, the item may be donated or disposed of
Midway Sports is not responsible for shipping costs on denied returns.

H. Exchanges
Exchanges are available for:
- Defective or damaged items
- Incorrect items
- Size, fit, or style issues for unused, unembellished items
Requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery and follow the same approval and shipping rules as returns.
I. Damaged, Incorrect, or Defective Products
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us immediately at contact@midwaysports.com.
To ensure timely resolution, please include the following in your email:
- Clear image(s) showing the damage, defect, or incorrect item
- Your order number
- Confirmation of whether you prefer a replacement or a refund
In these cases, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label for the affected item(s). Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item(s), we will assist with processing either a replacement or a refund, depending on availability and eligibility.
Unauthorized returns or returns sent without approval cannot be accepted.
J. Lost or Undelivered Packages
We understand that shipping carrier errors can occasionally occur.
If tracking information shows a package as successfully delivered, we are unable to take action, as the carrier has confirmed delivery.
If there is a misdelivered package, damaged delivery, or unclear or no delivery image provided by the carrier, and you believe the package may have been lost or stolen, you must file a claim directly with the shipping carrier.
Once the claim has been submitted, please email contact@midwaysports.com with the following:
- The carrier claim or reference number
- Any supporting image(s) or documentation provided by the carrier, if available
After review, we will be happy to assist further by issuing a replacement or refund, depending on the outcome of the carrier’s investigation. If the carrier requires any documentation from Midway Sports to complete the claim, we will gladly provide it.
K. Restocking Fees
A $15 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund or store credit.
L. Refunds
Once your return is inspected and approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing time varies by bank. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
M. Unused Discounts
Discounts must be applied at checkout. Retroactive discounts cannot be applied after purchase.
N. Shipping Delays
Carrier delays, high-volume seasons, or vendor delays may occur. In cases of significant delay, Midway Sports may offer refunds or cancellations at its discretion.
